SOFTWARE ENGINEER (PRODUCTION SUPPORT)

IMMEDIATE NEED for a Software Engineer (Production Support) to join a large financial services company in Santa Ana, CA for a 6+ months contract. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building production software systems and have experience with cloud software services and monitoring software like Cloudwatch or AppDynamics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Evaluate client applications and troubleshoot client issues with high level data analysis and project review
• Identify root causes of technical issues and develop code updates to fix reported defects
• Help stabilize new products from R&D into production
• Assist in support hours of operation and off hour production emergencies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of experience building production software systems
• Experience with monitoring software such as Cloudwatch and AppDynamics
• Experience developing cloud software services
• Experience with variety of modern programming languages (C#/C++, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python) and open source technologies (Linux, SQLite, OpenGL, Spring, Hibernate) with emphasis on .NET C# Core
• OO design/development
• Test Driven Development
• Familiar with enterprise technology tools: Service Bus, Caching, SQL ecosystem, NoSQL, Multithread, Performance Optimization
