PRODUCT OWNER (LOAN ORIGINATION SYSTEM/UNDERWRITING)

IMMEDIATE NEED for a Product Owner to join a FinTech company for a full-time, permanent position that is remote capable. The ideal candidate will understand or ideally, have worked on a product that relates to automated underwriting and the loan decision process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Execute product roadmap, drive the vision, and manage priorities for each sprint
• Decompose epics into detailed stories and ensure the stories are being effectively groomed, prioritized, and delivered on time
• Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog and maintain a deep backlog of groomed, development ready stories
• Balance the requirements of stakeholders and partner with design team to drive functional requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of experience as a product owner or product manager
• Experience with consumer lending software products
• Understanding of the underwriting process and loan decision criteria/rules
