IMMEDIATE NEED for a Data Architect / Data Leader to join a Dental Healthcare Organization. Great opportunity to build out their Data and Analytics organization. This position will be combining Dental and Healthcare data to help this organization provide world class Dental services to their patient community. Come help them build out their Data and Analytics organization.

Responsibilities: Will provide Data Architecture and Data Leadership experience to help this organization build out and grow their Data and Analytics organization. Great ground floor opportunity, career defining role, to implement modern data architectures and technologies.

This role will be instrumental in the design, maintenance, control, reporting, and use of Enterprise Health Data. Will be combining patient Dental and Health data in ways that are cutting edge for the industry. Will build out enterprise wide data warehouse, data sources and extracts, data transformation, and the technologies to support data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting needs. Specifically, the underlying technologies for data warehouse, data lakes, ETL/ELT, and presentation layers.

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligence
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for data management, storage, and analytics.
• Investigate new data sources and design a data integration strategy to include them in the enterprise data management platform.
• Define and manage standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality
• Ensure technology solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and target state
• Oversee end-to-end data life cycle management activities
• Interact with company leadership as required to facilitate the development of strategic data models, datasets, analytics and reporting for the organization.
• Work with IT teams, business analysts, and data analytics teams to understand data consumers’ needs and develop solutions.
• Support IT team by executing the various data engineering, business intelligence and ad hoc reporting tasks.
• Develop technical roadmap for migrating legacy data warehouse processes to new Logical Data Warehouse using modern data management platforms and environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field from an accredited college. Master’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience leading Data and Information Architecture initiatives.
• 5+ years of hands on individual contribution to real world data warehouse and analytics using modern big data architectures.
• Expertise in professional data management platform best practices including data sourcing, data integration, ETL, data modeling, analysis, and warehousing.
• Experience in professional business intelligence, analytics, and reporting best practices.
• Demonstrated proficiency with data management tools and processes. Data Tools for pipeline, ETL/ELT, integration. BI and Reporting tools, suites, solutions
• Strong background in system design and architecture in technology and processes.
• Experience with cloud computing (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP), building scalable, available, low-latency systems. Applying new technologies to enable data services.
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Snowflake, Attunity, Hadoop, Teradata)
• Experience developing reference architecture, principles and standards
