NEW Systems Architect - UNIX / RED HAT 

Contract, Contract to Perm OR DH

Open to C2C

Strongly prefer ONSITE RESOURCES local to Irvine, CA

IMMEDIATE NEED for a Systems Architect for a Contract OR CTH / DH Opportunity in Irvine, CA to migrate Linux v.6 to v.7 (Red Hat based distribution of Linux). Both on premise and cloud (AWS). You will develop around admin process, develop designs, some implementation. Must work independently and be task and goal driven, lead and drive the solution. Must have good analysis skills, ability to make decisions and give recommendations based on findings. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience migrating Red Hat distributions 6 to 7;
• Experience with both on-prem and cloud solutions - AWS strongly preferred;
• Proven experience developing designs and implementing those designs;
• Proven experience leading a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ITIL knowledge;
• Experience developing cloud technologies; especially AWS;
• Bachelors and/or Master's Degree.
