Concrete Sales & Service Representative
We are seeking a Concrete Sales & Service Representative to join our team! You will be responsible to promote concrete sales and products, sustain and build customer relationships, and to provide technical support to customers on-site. Responsibilities: * Facilitate the expansion of sales to existing customers and the development of sales to new customers * Develop extensive working relationships with customer, as well as other departments, such as dispatch, quality control, and production in order to ensure customer needs are addressed * Work to resolve customer issues, problems, and concerns in a timely and effective manner * Maintain excellent customer communications regarding timely deliveries, compliments/complaints, accurate orders, and job-site preparation * Serve as a Safety and Logistics liaison on job sites as needed * Assist with concrete production and delivery of job site added products * Observe job site testing and preform comparative testing with independent testing agencies * Communicate with customers, dispatch, and quality control regarding mix utilization and admixture dosage rates * Perform visual inspection assessments of job site conditions, solutions, and recommendations to correct problems if they occur * Supports Production, Quality Assurance and Accounting departments in resolving quality-based customer queries and complaints * Assist with accounts receivable, as necessary, for collection of unpaid invoices * Manages pricing of products for sale, based on company financial goals * Understands the sales market and is able to provide required information for annual budgets and forecasting data on a monthly basis Qualifications: * ACI Field Testing certification preferred or ability to obtain within the first six months of hire * Excellent Business/Financial Acumen - ability to specify and capture business opportunities and make vital financial and business decisions that drive high levels of business results * Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills along with a customer-focused philosophy * Must be able to build successful relationships, and interact with other in an open, respectful way, even in difficult or challenging circumstances * Self-motivated and results-driven with a commitment to meeting deadlines * Skilled in the use of basic computer software and web/mobile applications to accomplish daily tasks * Bachelor's degree preferred, but may be substituted with relevant work experience * Possess 1-3 years of construction industry experience, knowledge of ready-mix industry preferred * Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record Company Description Locally owned and operated company in Kapolei, Hawaii for 40 years.
