    Job Description

    • OPEN TO PARTIALLY REMOTE

     

    The Enterprise Systems Analyst will be the primary IT point of contact working with various business units to address system issues and identify new technology solutions related to Company’s enterprise business systems. This role will also play an integral part in future enterprise projects by acting as a liaison between IT and business users across Finance/Accounting, Merchandising, Distribution and Stores. This role requires a strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction and involves working with the business to define and validate the business requirements and document/translate into functional specifications for application developers.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensures the capture of clear expectations and requirements between IT and the Business for all IT related issues and requests.
    • Serves as a contact for the business to advise/solve or direct IT issues for resolution.
    • Responsible for issue tracking, logging, prioritizing and drive to a resolution in a timely manner.
    • Responsible for monitoring and maintenance of Enterprise System applications.
    • Participate in administrative activities such as provisioning and de-provisioning of application access, managing ticket request queues in the help desk and managing IT vendors.
    • Coordinate resolution of Enterprise Systems support issues across IT staff, third party vendors/consultants and business users.
    • Improve systems by studying current practices; then documenting existing and future processes and workflows.
    • Provides support to system issues through timely and quality analysis, root cause determination, and resolution of production problems and issues.
    • Will provide development team with functional and technical direction and documentation.
    • Make recommendations to management on opportunities for process improvements by utilizing and leveraging the application.
    • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
    • Monitor adoption and efficacy of new systems, process, and tools to identify areas of opportunity; recommends mitigation actions and process improvements.
    • Ability to create Test Cases and scenarios as well as facilitate UAT sessions.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
    • 5+ Years’ experience with functional and technical aspects of enterprise software in the areas of accounting, distribution, merchandising and inventory management.
    • Retail industry experience is a plus.
    • 3+ years of either Java or .NET/C# web or application development experience.
    • Experience build basic SQL queries. Experience with stored procedures is a plus.
    • A solid foundation with end-to-end development and the desire to further his/her technical knowledge.
    • Proficient in analysis and testing techniques required to support an enterprise business system.
    • Experience implementing ERP software solutions (NetSuite, ChainDrive, Oracle ERP)
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
    • Aptitude for analytical and creative thinking, decision-making, learning, problem-solving, systems thinking, personal ethics, organizational skills, and trustworthiness.
    • Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities.
    • Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
