We are seeking a versatile professional to ensure all IT systems and networks run smoothly across our medical clinics, 503A and 503B pharmacies, and corporate offices. This role will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining technology, hardware, and software within a healthcare and pharmacy environment, all while ensuring compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA 503A/503B). The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities: • Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system. • Document all support requests and resolutions in the IT ticketing system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. • Educate end-users on best practices for system use, data security, and software applications. • Assist in onboarding and offboarding of employees by setting up and deactivating user accounts, and configuring new equipment as needed. • Perform diagnostic tests and maintain systems and software to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure optimal performance. • Identify and resolve network and system performance issues to enhance business operations. • Stay up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration to enhance system efficiency. Compliance Security: • Ensure that all IT operations comply with HIPAA, FDA 503A/503B, and other relevant healthcare/pharmacy regulations. • Perform regular system audits, security assessments, and vulnerability scans. • Assist with implementing backup and disaster recovery plans to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity. Collaboration Project Management: • Assist in managing IT projects such as system upgrades, vendor selection, and new software implementations. • Communicate regularly with the IT Manager about project statuses, issues, and resolutions. Qualifications: Skills and qualifications • 3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in healthcare • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications) are a plus. • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic network troubleshooting. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications • Experience working in a healthcare or pharmacy setting (503A/503B experience preferred). • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and pharmacy management systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, QS1, PDX). • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks for healthcare and pharmacy (HIPAA, FDA 503A/503B). • Experience with network security tools and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and encryption technologies. Working Conditions: Location: Onsite at various locations, including medical clinics, pharmacies, and corporate offices. Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional on-call support for critical issues during evenings and weekends. Travel: Some travel may be required between company locations and offsite trainings. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
