  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a hands-on, highly proactive IT Manager to establish and lead our IT function. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining IT systems, ensuring cybersecurity compliance (especially aligned with U.S. government standards), automating workflows, and supporting our fully remote workforce through robust processes and tools. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in remote-first environments, well-versed in U.S. government cybersecurity frameworks, and enthusiastic about building scalable systems to reduce redundancies and improve efficiency. Responsibilities: IT Leadership & Strategy • Build, lead, and manage Lima Charlie Inc.’s IT department. • Develop and document IT-related processes, policies, and SOPs, tailored for a fully remote workforce. • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT matters within the organization. Cybersecurity Compliance • Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to ensure full compliance with U.S. government requirements (CMMC). • Perform regular audits, assessments, and updates to ensure ongoing cybersecurity readiness. • Provide internal cybersecurity awareness training and guidelines for all staff. Process Automation & Systems Optimization • Lead the automation of key operational workflows using platforms such as Monday.com, AppFolio, Zapier, and APIs. • Identify and implement tools and integrations that reduce redundancies, increase efficiency, and enhance the remote work experience. • Support process improvement initiatives across departments by leveraging technology. Technical Support & Digital Infrastructure • Manage website updates, troubleshoot issues. • Oversee email account creation, management, and deactivation (Google Workspace or similar). • Ensure the smooth operation of our digital environment, addressing technical issues promptly. Database & Systems Management • Maintain and update the company’s property database to support customer service, especially for government RFQs. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility across platforms. IT Business Development • Proactively seek out new IT-related business opportunities through government bids and RFPs. • Identify and submit proposals for IT services or projects aligned with our expertise and capabilities. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within remote organizations. • Knowledge of U.S. government cybersecurity standards (CMMC). • Experience managing websites and general IT infrastructure. • Demonstrated experience in process automation and workflow optimization. Compensation: $12 hourly
