Duties

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students both online and in person in all skill levels of Italian

• Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation

• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback in session reports to admin, parents/guardians, and teachers

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum

• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

• Reliably commute from client to client

Qualifications

• Fluency in Italian

-At least 2 years of tutoring experience

• Previous experience working with students, preferably with all ages, especially early childhood

• Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques

• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

• Special consideration will be given to candidates who are capable of teaching or tutoring other subjects including other foreign languages, English, social studies and history, mathematics, and science
