Job Description
At Iuvo Systems we provide outsourced accounting, system configuration, new system implementation, consulting, training, and staff augmentation to Government Contractors. We are seeking a sales development representative to work in a full-time capacity.
Duties
- Facilitate the growth of the Iuvo sales pipeline and close deals!
- Generate net new revenue.
- Manage and own the sales cycle: lead generation, business research, discovery calls, create proposals, opportunity follow up and closing the sale.
- Prospect and promote Iuvo accounting services to small business executives in various industries. Iuvo’s target market is state, local or federal government contractors.
- Responsible for making daily telephone calls into prospective leads.
- Compose and send prospect emails.
- Qualify leads and set meetings.
- Research qualified leads on LinkedIn using Sales Navigator and/or Premium.
- Build and nurture new relationships within target market companies.
- Present weekly updates to the leadership team.
- Attend industry conferences and events. Networking with attendees and taking notes for follow up.
- In addition, this role will assist the Marketing Director with industry specific marketing campaign tasks (emails, blogs, articles, social media posts, etc.) to prospects, partners and clients.

- Strong technical skills, including the ability to comfortably manage and log your work through a sales CRM (SalesLoft & Salesforce)
- Dedicated to continuous learning, coaching and professional development.
- Accounting, Finance and Government Contracting industry experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in an accounting staffing agency, outsourced accounting firm, CPA firm or software company selling professional services (ie Accountemps, Robert Half etc) is preferred.
Travel
- Attend scheduled industry conferences where Iuvo has an exhibitor booth/table.
- Attend industry networking events.
- Travel to key clients or accounts.
- All travel expenses (air, hotel, transportation) will be reimbursed and per diem daily rates paid.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

- Remote, work from home office
- Must have great internet and phone service
- Ability to work and be available for phone calls during normal business hours, M-F 8:00am-5:00pm (prefer Eastern or Central Time zone).
