We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a position in sunny Florida!

This person will be in a senior-level role that will lead design team members and manage projects from start to finish. They will offer engineering consulting services for a variety of clients in various sectors.

What you need to have:

• 8+ years of Mechanical Engineering Design experience (HVAC, plumbing, & fire protection)
• Experience with commercial and residential architectural projects
• Licensed PE in the State of Florida (or current NCEES record)
• Experience in AutoCAD MEP 2017
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and Adobe PDF
• Great Customer Service
• Excellent work ethic
• Strong communication skills

What you'll be doing...

• Lead and mentor the mechanical design team 
• Lead the planning designning, & the production of mechanical building systems using AutoCAD MEP or REVIT.
• Create & manage design documents including flow diagrams, plans and sections, details, specifications, equipment schedules, and calculations.
• Size & specify mechanical equipment including air handling units, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, etc.
• Undertake site surveys, field investigations, condition surveys, and feasibility studies for proposed projects and prepare reports.
• Ensure that cost, customer service, quality, schedule, and safety are incorporated into the design from commencement through completion.
• Design of systems that meet green building standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and others involved with the project
