Job Description:

IVY at Davenport is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator to manage our facility in Davenport , Iowa . As the Administrator, you will manage day-to-day operations of the community, including full profit and loss responsibilities. The SNF Administrator will serve as the community sales leader and liaison. You goal will be to plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of the operations. Our administrator will recruit and train team members to create and maintain a highly functioning team environment. Comply with all local, state and federal regulations and focuses on creating a safe working and living environment. Our team will be looking to you to maintain a positive working relationships with all residents, resident family members, employees, and the business community.

Responsibilities:

• On site executive for all operations, acting as contact for all staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies and the public.
• Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives.
• Understand the community’s care regulations and support the resident care program by regularly meeting with the Resident Care Director to discuss and address concerns of the department.
• Create a retention program with existing residents through a proactive program with the highest renewal rate possible.
• Provides leadership for staff and residents; pro-actively solves problems and issues.
• Reviews hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions and termination of employment of employees with attention paid to consistency in the selection and retention of quality personnel.
• Maintains buildings, grounds and property through the oversight of preventative maintenance systems and programs, and frequent inspections.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Nursing Home Administrator Experience - 5+ years
• Ability to empower team and retain staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in marketing to the community
