Ivybrook Academy is currently seeking substitute teachers for our Apex/Holly Springs campus.

We are looking for warm and vibrant substitute teachers to work with our preschool students. Enjoy a flexible substitute schedule while guiding our younger learners in investigations, experiments, and provocations. Our beautiful classrooms and progressive curriculum provide a wonderful environment for teachers and students.

NEW HOLLY SPRINGS/APEX CAMPUS Location - 8715 Holly Springs Road, Apex NC (located less than five minutes from surrounding cities - Cary, Raleigh, Apex, Fuquay Varina). The building construction will finish in June.

Benefits:

$15 per hour

School year closely follows the Wake County public-school traditional calendar

Work 8-12:45 (1:15 on Wednesdays) when called in or scheduled for educator absences

Supportive and professional work environment

Job Responsibilities:

Implement daily lessons for the children following a Montessori/Reggio hybrid approach to education - curriculum is provided, lesson plans provided

Maintain safe and supportive classroom environment for students

Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents

Assist educators in maintaining portfolio assessments for all children in the classroom

Job Requirements. Priority is given to:

Candidates with previous experience at a public or private school.
