Job Summary We are seeking a Cook for our Preschool to join the team at Ivywood Academy. In this position, you will be responsible for creating monthly meal calendars for our Preschool, cooking and serving daily meals for our students, and ordering/shopping for ingredients. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for our families.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create menus according to student needs

Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment

Prepare food and serve to each classroom

Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary

Follow all food safety regulations

Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures

Follow Bright from the Start "My Plate" guidelines

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification preferred

Excellent time management skills
