    Phase V is an IT help desk company specializing in providing white glove, concierge level IT help desk services in the healthcare industry. We are comprised of a small, tight-knit team that has developed a unique technique to attend to the IT needs of our government clients. We embrace new technology and strive for excellence in receiving IT tickets and meeting the SLAs outlined by the client.

    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE IT SPECIALIST:

    We are looking to hire an IT Support Specialist for Morning Shift (6am to 3pm) or Night Shift (3pm to 12 midnight) (Mon-Fri) schedule and 8:30am to 5pm (Saturday and Sunday). This is largely a remote/work for the first 2-3 months then in person during the week, with the primary responsibility being to provide technical support to all users.

     

    The successful candidate must be well-spoken, experienced in IT help desk support at Tier I, II and III while competently documenting the details of each ticket. Utilizing our phone and ticketing system, you will be required to interact with individuals who are MAC and PC users including tablets, laptops, and telephones. These customers require in person over-the-shoulder, telephone and email customer support.

    This position works in the Microsoft environment. A strong understanding of basic networking and customer support troubleshooting is a MUST.

    This position requires being in an “On-Call” rotation with the other support agents. “On-Call” being a week-long obligation that answers all after-hour calls and requests.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Front-End Helpdesk Support
    • Resolving Support Tickets
    • Server Health Checks
    • Documentation of Processes
    • Remotely assist users in various locations using desktop sharing software.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Self–motivated, with excellent customer service skills (concierge level of service)
    • Strong technical knowledge of Mac and Windows
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail
    • Ability to write clear and concise documentation and notes
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines focusing on quality, compliance, and attention to detail
    • Ability to regularly work one evening or weekend shift a week

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

    • Recent 2 – 5 years helpdesk support experience
    • Experience with Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 and Office
    • A+ Certification preferred

    Salary: Hourly with Overtime

    Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on level of experience
