Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Nail Technician to join our team! As a nail technician, you will provide manicures, pedicures, and other nail care services and treatments to our valued customers. In addition, you will assess each customer’s individual needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and methods of care. Nail technician responsibilities may include applying gel and acrylic nails, creating nail art, shaping, and polishing. Responsibilities

Evaluate each client’s nails and recommend nail care and treatment

Maintain a clean workspace and properly sanitized equipment

Provide hand and foot massages

Consult with clients to assess their nail care needs, preferences, and desired nail looks, providing personalized recommendations and suggestions for nail treatments and designs.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary nail workstation, following strict hygiene and sanitation protocols for nail tools, products, and equipment to ensure the health and safety of clients.

Demonstrate proficiency in nail care techniques, including nail shaping, cuticle care, callus removal, and hand and foot massage, to deliver relaxing and rejuvenating nail services.

Stay up-to-date with current nail trends, techniques, and products, continuously expanding your knowledge and skill set to offer innovative and on-trend nail designs and treatments.

Assist with salon marketing and promotional efforts, including showcasing your nail artistry skills on social media platforms, participating in photo shoots, and contributing to salon events and promotions.

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, building rapport, establishing trust, and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering high-quality nail services and exceeding their expectations.

Collaborate with salon management and other team members to maintain a positive and professional salon environment, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team culture.

Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability in all aspects of your work, including adhering to salon policies, procedures, and schedules.

Qualifications

Licensed preferred, but an apprenticeship may be possible.

Proven experience as a Nail Technician, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of nail services and nail art designs.

Proficiency in nail care techniques, including manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, acrylic nail enhancements, and nail art, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and provide excellent customer service

Creativity, artistic flair, and a passion for nail care and nail artistry, with a dedication to staying on top of current nail trends, techniques, and products.

Certification or formal training in nail technology from a reputable institution is preferred but not required, with demonstrated experience and expertise serving as the primary qualification.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate client appointments and salon schedules.
