Job Description

J.G. Wentworth Home Lending is seeking a MORTGAGE LOAN CLOSER TRAINER. This individual is responsible for performing initial onboarding training for all new Closers hired, ongoing training for current employees, and developing the training program.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Training will commence the 1st day of each new hire’s employment start date and will continue throughout the first 1 to 2 weeks of employment.
• Trainer will perform 2nd level reviews behind Closer’s first 10 files (initial closing disclosures and final CDs and Loan Packages). Subsequent reviews will be performed by the Department Supervisor
• Conduct refresher training courses with existing Closers
• Training will include but is not limited to the following:
  • Closer OneForm Manual
  • Encompass training
  • Reviewing the title binder and insurance documents
  • Calculating taxes, escrows and aggregate
  • Understanding Mavent fails and tolerance cures
  • SLAs
  • Balancing Closing Disclosure with title companies
  • Disclosing a secure Closing Disclosure to the customer
  • PCM reports
  • Customer service
  • Refresher courses for specific loan types, products and State Rules
  • Pipeline Management

   REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years experience in mortgage closing with previous experience training and developing closers/operations.
• Strong working knowledge of Encompass.
• Multi-tasked and detail oriented
• Some travel required.
