J Harlan Group is currently conducting a search for a Chief Technology Architect at a Global Asset Manager based in Philadelphia. We are seeking a senior, high caliber and highly motivated Global Technology Architect with strong investment management knowledge and track record of successful delivery to join the growing team in center-city Philadelphia.

An exciting opportunity to work with key business and technology stakeholders to drive strategic decisions across the entire asset management technology landscape. The Chief Technology Architect will be responsible for defining the future-state technical environment for the Global Asset organization and be responsible for facilitating the conversion of strategies to actions and identifying ways to optimize IT capabilities and performance to improve interoperability of applications, systems and infrastructure.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic decisions across the entire asset management technology landscape.
• Develop strong senior business relationships to understand key business process, priorities and how the business win.
• Develop strong technology relationships and networks within the greater technology organization and external industry.
• Whilst you will produce architecture artefacts to develop strategy, success will be based on delivering significant lasting value by automating, simplifying and innovating.
• Work collaboratively across delivery teams, creating the means for sharing ideas and knowledge of what is going on.
• Champion opportunities in group technology strategy like cloud.
• Senior technical leadership including, coach and mentor tech staff in delivery teams, consultation on solution design
