J.M. Crawford & Associates is seeking an experienced full-time Transportation Engineer to join our team. We have served a variety of clients since our founding in 1967 - municipal and state governments as well as private companies. We have an excellent relationship with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and are looking to further that reputation by continuing to hire exceptional people. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a team environment, provides leadership and has the ability to manage projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• BSCE (required)
• Active KY PE registration is required
• 5+ years’ progressive experience in a combination of highway design and project management responsibilities
• Preliminary and Final design experience with KYTC projects, specifications and guidelines required
• Demonstrated hands-on-experience using MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads
• Demonstrated Experience with AASHTO Policy’s and Guidelines
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills required
• Experience with site development and/or municipal projects
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic design
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work in a team environment

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with Bentley software including Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads
• Experience coordinating and directing other team members in roadway design and plan preparation
• Ability to assist in proposal and business development
• Reside in central Kentucky
