    Job Description

    GENERAL SUMMARY

    The Marketing and Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing a broad range of marketing projects including creating engaging content for the company website and social media platforms; coordinating integrated marketing efforts; and all public relations activities and events. In addition, approximately 20% of the position is dedicated to tasks supporting the JM Murray Board of Directors.

    COMPANY STANDARDS

    • Maintains regular attendance and punctuality in order to perform responsibilities of position. This position is primarily a remote work from home position, but incumbents will periodically need to work onsite for meetings and events.

    • Follows all safety rules and regulations; wears and/or uses any required protective equipment while working; immediately reports any safety concerns or unsafe working conditions to the President/CEO.

    • Conducts all aspects of job responsibilities in compliance with the JM Murray policies and procedures, professional standards, and applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    MARKETING

    1. Designs and supports digital marketing initiatives to ensure optimization of company websites (JM Murray and OraLine). This includes website functionality projects as assigned.

    2. Assists, schedules, and executes social media postings and advertisements across all platforms, including (as appropriate) Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube, for JM Murray, OraLine and ESTI.

    3. Coordinates and completes the setup and execution of additional digital programs, including but not limited to: paid search, SEM (Search Engine Marketing) SEO (Search Engine Optimization), keyword research; affiliate and partnership marketing, re-targeting, digital display, and 3rd party marketplaces.

    4. Performs standard and ad-hoc reporting for all marketing campaigns to determine outcomes and efficacy.

    5. Completes all activities and tasks as the driving force in the development of branding, logos, brochures and other marketing materials, and ensures that information and photographs are obtained for agency events.

    GRANT WRITING

    1. Researches and identifies grant opportunities and funding sources that align with the Company’s strategic plan. Prepares proposals by determining grant concepts and gathering information needed.

    2. Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.

    3. Upon approval of a grant application, coordinates and tracks the relevant data and outcomes in order to ensure milestones are met and information submitted for payment.

    PR/FUND RAISING

    1. Develops public relations and fund-raising plans and coordinates all tasks and activities related to those that are approved and assigned. Responds to media inquiries, when requested by the President, for both routine and non-routine events.

    2. Responsible for coordinating and completing tasks related to event planning and fund-raising projects, which includes the annual JM Murray Golf Classic, the Employee Celebration event, and other assigned projects and events.

    3. Prepares and submits press releases and news updates to local and regional publications and outlets, upon approval of the President. Updates the company websites and intranet with photos of recent events, new employees, and other newsworthy events and information.

    BOARD OF DIRECTORS

    1. Coordinates and completes all aspects pertaining to Board of Director’s meetings of the J. M. Murray Center Inc., ESTI and OraLine, Inc. This position is responsible for taking the minutes for all assigned meetings and committees. During the normal course of these duties, the position will receive sensitive and confidential information, and requires the utmost of discretion and confidentiality.

    2. Coordinates all arrangements for the Board of Directors meetings, and Committee meetings, including the scheduling and preparation of meeting rooms, electronic devices for virtual meetings, and any supplies or materials needed for the meetings.

    3. Coordinates all arrangements for the Annual Board Meeting of JM Murray. Acts as the liaison with the location chosen for the annual dinner. Coordinates, develops and produces the Company’s annual report.

    4. Represents JM Murray in a positive manner, treating people with dignity and respect.

    5. Performs additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field

    Experience must include demonstrated experience with marketing on multiple social media platforms and public relations projects and events

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    1. Good communications skills, both verbally and in writing, and an understanding of communication styles for social media platforms

    2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    3. Ability to foster and maintain positive internal and external relationships

    4. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, to update and make changes to websites, and to utilize technology (hardware and software) efficiently and effectively

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    Will require the ability to adjust working hours to complete work and attend events that may take place outside of normal business hours.

    Will require the ability to travel locally and regionally to and from locations where work and events are taking place.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Job assignments primarily may take place indoors. Job duties may also take place through local travel.
