We are looking for a skilled CPA Accountant Assistant to play a key role on our growing team. You’ll be responsible for recording all our financial transactions including deposits and payments, and posting information to the general ledger, Accounting CS, and QuickBooks. Responsibilities: • Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial statements • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger • Complete bookkeeping duties: Data entry and record maintenance • Properly record financial transactions • 1040 Tax Return Preparation - (Workpapers downloaded from Client Mobile App) • 1120(s) Tax Return Preparation - (Data Imported from Accounting System) • 1065 Tax Return Preparation - (Data Imported from Accounting System) Qualifications: • Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required • Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar • Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Compensation: $50,000 per year
