We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team! You will be responsible for expanding the company's book of business by selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients
• Quote proper coverage for client needs
• Cross sell products to existing clients
• Expand business reach through networking techniques
• Comply with insurance standards and regulations
• Track and identify areas of improvement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask

Company Description

My husband started our Allstate Insurance agency in 2002 in Soulard (St. Louis City neighborhood). We have room for 2 more licensed agents, and are looking for a career minded, confident person who is licensed and has a track record of successfully selling insurance. This person must be confident and have the ability to provide a good customer experience. Must be good with social media and other technology to reach potential customers. We have a relaxed environment, but are very busy and need someone who can keep up with daily tasks, and help make monthly goals. Looking for the perfect candidate to motivate the team and help bring in sales. Duties will mostly be quoting and closing leads that come in, may include prospecting commercial accounts and creating rapport with real estate agencies. Hourly pay, plus commission, and if goals are achieved, you will be part of the year end bonus payout. Full time hours, Monday thru Friday, paid holidays off, 1 week paid time off to start, open at 9am and close at 5pm.
