We have been retained by our client, a growing Commercial General Contractor in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, to find a Senior Project Manager. This role involves leading project teams through the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful project completion while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties:
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting and profit & loss, to ensure financial health and success of projects.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, exploring opportunities for new business with both existing and prospective clients.
- Lead and promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the project team, enhancing project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage the comprehensive scope of project work, including scheduling, procurement, quality, and safety, ensuring project goals are met.
- Negotiate and resolve financial disputes, change orders, and project scope adjustments with project stakeholders, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, supplemented by at least 10 years of relevant construction experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects valued over $20 million, preferably in education, municipal, and mass transit sectors.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects and teams concurrently, ensuring timely and quality completion of all tasks.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, project management, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in project management software and excellent communication and organizational skills.
