We have been retained by our client, a growing AE Firm in the greater Charlotte area, to find an Architect. This role involves managing design and construction phase services for diverse project types, encompassing architectural design, interdisciplinary coordination, and commissioning for both new construction and renovation projects. Responsibilities include project planning, code compliance, construction documentation, and enhancing project quality through effective communication with clients and teams.

Duties:

• Oversee and coordinate the project delivery process for small to mid-scale Commercial, Government, and Industrial projects.
• Ensure that the design and documentation meet project expectations, maintaining a high level of quality and precision.
• Create comprehensive construction drawings and specifications to effectively guide project implementation.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of relevant building codes to evaluate and ensure compliance throughout the project's life cycle.
• Actively engage in construction meetings, generate field reports as required, and facilitate construction oversight, including responding to RFIs and preparing change notices to promptly address project challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Registered Architect
• 10+ years of Architectural Design experience
• Strong background in Federal Building projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree
• Experience with NAVFAC, AFCEC, and USACE
• LEED AP
• Proficient in Microstation
