We have been retained by our client, a Veteran-Owned Construction Management Firm, to find a Construction Inspector in the Jackson, MS area specializing in Water/Wastewater or Utilities. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful implementation of construction projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to safety regulations.

Duties:

• Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations in the Water/Wastewater or Utilities sector.
• Document and report construction progress, issues, and resolutions to project managers, providing timely and accurate updates.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to address concerns, resolve discrepancies, and ensure project milestones are met.
• Perform quality control checks on materials, workmanship, and construction methods, identifying and rectifying deviations from approved plans.
• Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• OSHA certification.
• Proven experience as a Construction Inspector with a focus on Water/Wastewater or Utilities projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Certified Plant Operator is a plus.
