    JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Program development, coordination and oversight: Develops and updates as necessary an annual Workshop Plan for each FY which projects the number and timing of workshops, the expected number of completers by month and YTD, tracks actual completers each month and YTD, shows month and YTD variance, and takes corrective action to ensure program objectives are achieved; assists with budget development and updates as necessary program and line item revenue and expenditure budgets, reviews monthly and expenditures actual to budget provided by the Office of Finance, and takes corrective actions to ensure the financial viability of the program; schedules and coordinates CDSMP, DSMP, and Tomando Control de su Salud  and other related workshops throughout the JABA service area with VPAS.
    2. Volunteer leaders training and supervision, and oversight: ensures that there are a sufficient number of qualified workshop leaders with the information and resources that are needed to deliver successful workshops; recruit and retain workshop Leaders; purchase workshop and training supplies; approve leader stipends; coordinating leader training and providing support for leaders according to Stanford University guidelines and the DARS contract; schedule leaders for workshops and leader training as required and publishing a monthly Newsletter for leaders, and other CDSME stakeholders.
    3. Marketing and program evaluation: develop and implement a marketing plan to promote CDSME with community organizations, health care providers, and individuals; develop and provide marketing materials for workshops and leader trainings; providing CDSME information for the VPAS and JABA web sites ; respond to inquiries by and referrals for potential workshop participants by providing information about CDSME; maintain a list of potential workshop participants, informing them when workshops are scheduled, and registering them for appropriate workshops; survey workshop participants, completers, trainers, leaders, and other stakeholders to measure satisfaction with the Program.
