The Program Assistant for Outreach will provide logistical support for the Outreach Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. In conjunction with the coordinator and other staff, schedule community and staff presentations or other activities in order to educate a select audience about JABA programs. Procure presentations and set up materials for staff presentations. Coordinate with the Philanthropy and Communications Department to maintain marketing materials.

2. Partnership Development - build positive relations within the organization and external community partners; collaborate with JABA departments; participate in community meetings; network with community groups and organizations for purposes of  program development and awareness raising; manage outreach to the community and approved marketing plan.

3. Attend quarterly meetings with Outreach Task Force to report on outcomes. Work with Task Force to further outreach strategic plan.

4. In conjunction with the coordinator, maintain data collection systems to report on impact of programs to funders and stakeholders and evaluate effectiveness of programs; track outcome measures; utilize information to continuously improve results.

5. Attend community meetings or provide presentations as scheduled.

6. Support JABA's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative by serving as an advocate for individuals of all ethnicities, genders, ages, sexual orientations, backgrounds, abilities, and levels of need.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employee works primarily in JABA environments in in the communities served by JABA (Albemarle, Charlottesville, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson). The employee will be required to travel by automobile to work in varied business and residential environments based on program needs.
