Finance Specialist- Accounts Receivable – Full Time

Local non-profit seeks talented finance specialist with excellent organizational service skills to process billing and receivables.
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare client billing for adult day care, child care and other areas
• File & ensure payment of monthly claims with third party agencies such as Medicaid (LTSS), managed care (MCO) and long-term care (LTC) providers
• Monitoring and collection of accounts receivable
• Reconcile revenue accounts to general ledger monthly
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Work closely with staff, clients and caregivers
• Additional related responsibilities as needed
• Assist clients with billing questions, credit card payments and other concerns
Qualifications:
• Requires a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in billing processing
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Degree from an accredited college/university, or a two-year degree combined with the equivalent work/supervisory experience is preferred
• Knowledge in filing claims with Medicaid, MCO insurance and LTC insurance
• Ability to independently prioritize, organize and perform work tasks
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, work independently, and maintain a professional demeanor
• Strong attention to deadlines and details is important
Pay begins at $18-19/hour and is commensurate with experience. This is a year-round, 37.5 hours per week position.
