JAC is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team at our Mt. Pearl location in NL. Applicants should have at least five years of experience in the Web and Graphic Design field and must live in Canada. This includes managing all graphic design tasks, refining projects and drafts, and generating creative ideas. They should have extensive knowledge of graphic design, styles, and techniques. The graphic designer will ensure that the design team promotes the company’s vision through high-quality graphic content. The ideal candidate is actively working in the design field and has a strong knowledge of the most recent design trends. They should have experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma and be open to learning new tools and techniques. Responsibilities: • Take an active role in the development projects for the various design projects, both large and small, throughout the various phases of the project life cycle. Assess new initiatives to determine the work effort and estimate the necessary time to completion • Abilities to Illustrate concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts • Work with copywriters and creative directors to produce final designs • Create graphics, including illustrations, logos, layouts, web templates, and photos • Setting and implementing timelines to achieve targets Qualifications: • Formal training and/or experience in graphic arts and design, including web, social, and animation • 5 years of experience in graphic design • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma • Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects (a mandatory requirement when submitting a response) • Have experience working in a fast pace production environment • Strong organizational skills Mandatory Requirements • Resumes will not be reviewed if it does not include a portfolio/sample of work • JAC is looking for someone to join our team at our Mt.
