    Headquartered in City of Industry, CA, Jada Toys is a privately held leading manufacturer of authentically licensed and highly stylized figures, die-cast collectibles, radio-controlled vehicles and toys. Jada works closely with major entertainment and vehicle brands to produce the innovative patented items that our fans have come to expect.

    We are looking for a PRODUCT MANAGER to join our team full time.

    REPORTING TO THE SVP OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

    This position will work in collaboration with the Toy and collectible Division of a robust global R&D team in the development of brand-new products. From inspiration & ideation, all the way through to production, this position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that items move through each step in our process, are on time, hit cost and quality requirements, and are FUN TO PLAY!

    Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Track 250+ products through product development life cycle
    • Work with directors to develop scope of work and budget for each project that will be successful in various channels
    • Facilitate and hold weekly calls with China/US team to review collection list and project status.
    • Develop specifications for new items to facilitate factory quotations
    • Participate in regular “critical path” meetings
    • Work with Sr. Management, Directors and China team to track obtain product approvals at various stages of development, wherever necessary
    • Organize & manage play test sessions for projects during development
    • Some BASIC copywriting
    • Maintain all product specs and price quotes for new items, and ensure that internal product information databases are updated
    • Manage development deadlines and production milestones for projects, ensuring that all key dates are met
    • Become the in-house product status expert for collectible and toy categories
    • Stay on top of current trends in toys, games, entertainment and pop culture
    • Liaise with cross-organizational departments to meet milestones product specs and schedules for all new items to ensure smooth product launches
    • Support Product Design Directors in preparation of presentations and showrooms for trade shows

    Required experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management preferably in the Toy Industry and manufacturing segment of consumer goods

    • Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment

    • Strong organizational skills, communication skills (written and verbal) and superior attention to detail are a must

    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

    • Ability to assess situations and problem solve autonomously

    • Have a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks

    • Have an adaptable nature, ability to rapidly shift priorities and change processes when dealing with unique or ambiguous projects

    • Should have an interest in product fabrication, materials and design as well as the self-motivation to explore the market for new materials

    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite

    • Comfortable / understanding of a MAC platform (do not need proficiency in)

    Preferred experience:

    • 3-5+ years in the toy and game industry
    • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Industrial Design or related field
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
    • Knowledge of the Toy and Collectible industry
