    JAKTOOL seeks an individual to support enterprise-wide security systems that are related to technology and business processes.  This individual will also support existing software & hardware systems.  This is a part time position.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist management in the development of information security systems
    • Monitor information security systems for vulnerabilities, potential security incidents, and system error conditions and follow up or remediate issues
    • Experience with firewall, VPN, proxies, routers, and switches
    • Manage endpoint security solution
    • Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 Pro administration experience is required
    • Experience in administration of Office 365 Enterprise environment is a plus
    • Notify management of all vulnerabilities, incidents, problems immediately and with confidentiality
    • Perform information security reviews and risk assessments, as directed by management
    • Research vulnerabilities and develop strategies for safeguarding information
    • Implement information security procedures related to new applications and initiatives
    • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research related to security processes, programs and projects
    • Prepare technical proposals based on changes in infrastructure, newly identified vulnerabilities, improvements in monitoring tools and changing best practices
    • Install, configure & maintain hardware and/or software as required
    • Develop and update information security tasks related to disaster recovery support
    • Support general network requirements ensuring appropriate backups and maintenance are performed timely
    • Ensure integrity and security of company data by performing daily backup checks
    • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, 800-53, 800-171, CIS or other regulations is preferred
    • Work with management on new projects, as assigned

     

    EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in a field related to computer science/information AND one (1) year of professional experience in: analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, resolving technical problems, testing, defining business requirements, training and/or installing computer systems applications OR planning, acquiring, installing and implementing telecommunications facilities and services, wide area networks, or local area networks OR generating and maintaining system software.

      SUBSTITUTION: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying on a year for year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits.
