JOB TITLE: WEB DEVELOPER

JANSON has an immediate need for a Web Developer. This is a full-time position with approved telework and will be remote with an expectation to work onsite  2-3 days a week.

This position requires a professional who can work successfully in a fast-paced customer environment and is skilled in all aspects of Webmaster, social media skills are a plus. The ideal candidate will excel in a team environment yet bring forward a decisive personality to successfully engage with peers and senior government officials. DoD experience is preferred.

JOB DUTIES:

• Create graphics, banners, landing pages, and web sites
• Create wire frames, rapid prototypes, user interfaces, and comp designs
• Design layout and templates for maximum usability and focus on user experience
• Create interfaces, using front-end code in HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript to interface with back end code
• Use advanced CSS techniques in order to solve design issues
• Use the web content management system in order to edit/create pages, assist partner departments with adding/editing content in the CMS
• Implement cookie code for analytics and dynamic content purposes
• Perform usability tests on interface design to insure cross-browser compatibility
• Use Test and Target to serve up segmented content and for A/B and multivariate testing
• Give expert design advice on projects, make recommendations for improving web sites
• Work with web developers to apply style and user interface design to web applications
• Design new landing pages and visual mock-ups for website enhancements.
• Strategize and coordinate HTML page development with Web Content Editors and internal clients
• Maintain photo, art, video, and image library for online use
• Liaise with outside content suppliers and content management system
• Other duties as needed to support the Client.
• Other duties as needed in support of JANSON.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM 5 YEARS

· BS in computer science or related

· Exceptional organizational and planning abilities

· Strong client engagement skills and team player mentality

· Ability to work both independently and as a team member

· SECRET Clearance Preferred

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Strong technology skills, including experience using MS Office products, MS Project (or equivalent), web browsers, etc.
