Summary - Field Technician: We are currently seeking candidates interested in working in a field-based inspection and testing position. Training and development will be provided for candidates that do not currently possess the necessary certifications for experience.

Work Environment: Active construction sites

Responsibility Summary - Field Technician:

• Responsible for performing routine tests as required on raw materials, process components and final product to ensure that the requirements of the specifications and customers are met.
• Follow quality control plans or guidelines as assigned
• Assist internal and external customers in any quality related matters
• Collaborate with technical staff as well as customer service and operations personnel to aid in the successful completion of inspections and testing of asphalt, concrete, and soils
• Paid overtime and occasional weekend work may be required during the peak season
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Assist with other functions of the business as necessary

Qualification Summary - Field Technician:

• High Scholl Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication skills
• Developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work some night and weekends
• Valid state driver’s license
