Summary - Construction Inspector: Jarbo Employment is seeking qualified Construction Observer candidates for a growing and well-respected company in the KC area. This position requires experience and certifications with KDOT and/or MoDOT projects and the ability to act autonomously and in a leadership capacity on projects.

Job Duties - Construction Inspector:
- Inspects, observes, documents, and verifies work in progress by the construction contractor to ensure compliance with project schedule, contract documents, and plans. Confirms procedures are followed and material used conforms to specifications.
- Utilizes engineering inspection practices to perform complicated mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date.
- Maintains Inspector's daily report of assigned work activities, contactor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified, and entered in the appropriate construction management systems daily.
- Performs on-site material testing and produces as-constructed sketches as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications - Construction Inspector:
- 10-years DOT experience.
- KDOT Certifications Preferred. Other State's Certifications will be considered.
