Responsibility Summary – Structural Design Engineer
- Assist in the development of structural designs for transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges, retaining walls, and other related structures.
- Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to analyze project requirements and develop innovative design solutions.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with other project components, such as roadway alignments and drainage systems.
- Participate in site visits and field inspections to assess existing conditions and support construction activities.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in structural engineering.
Qualification Summary – Structural Design Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Strong academic background in structural analysis, mechanics, and design principles.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or similar programs.
