Responsibility Summary – Manual Machinist:
- Set up machinery for operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, milling, and lathe work.
- Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment.
- Perform welding operations, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
- Set up and perform finishing operations, such as finish grinding, metalizing, adjusting, and handheld tools use.
- Check parts for quality assurance using micrometers and calipers.
Qualification Summary – Manual Machinist:
- High school diploma required; any secondary education in a relevant field is however preferred
- Machining Experience making small batch runs and/or custom parts.
- Experience setting up machinery using blueprints or drawing.
- Welding experience.
- High mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Experience performing quality assurance checks using measurement tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
