Responsibility Summary – Manual Machinist:

• Set up machinery for operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, milling, and lathe work.
• Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment.
• Perform welding operations, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
• Set up and perform finishing operations, such as finish grinding, metalizing, adjusting, and handheld tools use.
• Check parts for quality assurance using micrometers and calipers.

Qualification Summary – Manual Machinist:

• High school diploma required; any secondary education in a relevant field is however preferred
• Machining Experience making small batch runs and/or custom parts.
• Experience setting up machinery using blueprints or drawing.
• Welding experience.
• High mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Experience performing quality assurance checks using measurement tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
