Position Summary - Civil Engineer: Opportunity to work with a top-notch Civil Engineering firm out of Lenexa, KS – candidate would ideally have experience in public infrastructure – and be someone who is dependable and can work in a relatively fast-paced environment in a collaborative setting with minimal supervision.

Responsibility Summary - Civil Engineer:
- Provide Civil 3D CAD drafting and design support for Project Managers and Engineers during the planning, design and construction of land development and civil infrastructure projects.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of standard drawing templates, 3D objects, details and graphic standards.
- Translate mark-ups into drawings, check and plot drawings, correctly label final working drawings, and update contract drawings.
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining standard drawing files in accordance with company standards.
- Review all work for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines including architecture, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, water and wastewater.
Qualification Summary - Civil Engineer:
- Proficient in roadway design or site development-based CAD drafting and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Two-year diploma or concurrent enrollment in design/drafting with AutoCAD training from a recognized institution preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to perform on multiple assignments concurrently.
- High level of accuracy/thoroughness, attention to detail and speed.
- Must have good communication skills and a commitment to meeting project deadlines and challenges while working in a team setting.
- Team-spirited, focused, able to make good independent decisions
