    Job Description

    Our new Farmers Protégé Program is designed for anyone who has ever thought about entering the competitive world of insurance. This is an opportunity to be appointed under one of Farmers' most successful agents. Learn how to own and operate an insurance practice from the inside out all while being paid. This hands-on paid position is perfect for someone wanting to know what a typical day is like and has the desire to run a business. Full training is provided, from marketing, sales, staffing, customer service and insurance knowledge. The outcome of the protégé program is to prepare you to own your own agency after surpassing the goals set by the company.

    The outcome of the protégé program is to prepare you to own your own agency after surpassing the goals set by the company. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
    • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
    • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
    • Process customer policy change requests.
    • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
    • Develop new Financial Services opportunities.
    • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
    • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.

    REQUIREMENTS REQUIREMENTS

    • College Degree Preferred but not required.
    • Property, Casualty, Life and Health License  (we will help you obtain your license if you don't have one yet)
