    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    This position is responsible to assist with the overall retail branch sales management and business development in a given geography or territory.  The Regional Manager also has daily oversight responsibilities that include operating accounts, business operations, personnel management, and the enforcement of Company policies.  With moderate oversight, this position oversees and distributes communication of business objectives and plans within the region. 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

    The essential functions of the job, in order of importance, and an estimate of the percentage of time spent on each responsibility (the main function of the job may or may not be the one where the most time is spent).  Time spent codes are: “C” constantly (>60%), "F" for frequently (20-60%); "O" for occasionally (<20%).

    ·      Manage the production of a retail mortgage region, including management reporting, projections and budget goals                                                                 C

    ·      Establish and achieve sales and budget goals by increasing production and profitability and controlling expenses                                                                    C

    ·      Actively ensures compliance with all applicable laws, policies and procedures related to mortgage lending and participates in any required training. 

    ·      Addresses non-performance issues timely while establishing appropriate performance improvement measures                                                                         C

    ·      Actively grows region through internal and external recruiting efforts in partnership with VP of Strategic Initiatives                                                                    F         

    ·      Provide sales training and individual and team coaching                                                                                                                                                                      F

    ·      Maintain in-depth knowledge of CHL products, policies, and procedures.  Establishes collaborative partnerships with other business lines within CHL.       F

    ·      Actively participates in local and state mortgage banking, realtor, and builder trade associations, and

           maintains a thorough understanding of mortgage industry knowledge and current issues                                                                                                               F

    ·      Provide leadership to the mortgage team around impacting a positive customer experience with CHL                                                                                          F

    ·      Ability to run a cost-center with the region and a Profit-and-Loss centric model (P&L)                                                                                                                   F
