    Hiring Reps for Santa Barbara/Ventura

    We are looking for proactive, motivated, and coachable individuals who are interested in getting their foot in the door of the Wholesale Wine and Spirit Industry. As a Key Account Specialist at our company, you will be the first point of contact with the best retail shops, best chain retail stores, best bars and best restaurants in your territory. We are a fast-growing, supportive, team-focused, and hungry environment. THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE WILL

    • Successfully gain new distribution and grow sales in the market as assigned by the General Sales Manager helping brands from around the world achieve distribution the most competitive market.
    • Will meet face-to-face with all accounts (current and prospective) in the assigned territory.
    • Passionately sell our products and work to gain trust and build relationships with their customers. I
    • Study and learn the company’s portfolio in order to present with enthusiasm and professionalism.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS: Well organized, plans out their day in advance, and able to identify opportunities and react to them on the fly. The best salespeople understand they are working in the most competitive alcohol beverage industry in the country and must set themselves apart by understanding what works best for the customer. SOME RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Manage existing and identify new accounts on and off premise

    • Scale, nurture, and grow accounts beyond current business

    • Understand trends, consumer behavior, and competitors in market

    • Enter orders into our ERP software Magnum

    • Utilize CRM to manage accounts and communicate with management team

    • Work closely with suppliers in our portfolio to gain knowledge on their products

    • Manage account receivables

     

    DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES:

    • Work set call frequency for both on and off premise accounts in area

    • Present, taste and educate customers on products

    • Close sales, merchandise and create brand awareness

    • Attain well, cocktail and back-bar placements

    • Entertain and/or support staff lunch/dinner events

    •  

    • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2 years beverage sales experience preferred

    • Knowledge of spirits and alcohol beverage industry

    • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle

    • Personal computer, iPad, and cell phone

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Organized and self-motivated

    • Excellent communication skills, confident in managing, influencing and growing relationships
