  • Responsibilities

    Requirements:

    U.S. Citizenship is required.

    Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance as required by contract.

    This position is hybrid (on-site/remote). Candidate will be required to work on-site at minimum, three days a week

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years related experience or 7+ years equivalent work experience.

    Technical or IT management certifications preferred.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Demonstrated experience with Service Now ITSM.

    Demonstrated experience in configuration management and software development processes.

    Strong knowledge of configuration management tools and standards.

    Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

    Proficient in administering change control and problem management processes.

    Ability to work collaboratively with users, systems development personnel, and team members.

    Superior communication skills, both oral and written.

    Experience with program support libraries and ensuring system integrity is a plus.

    Preferred previous experience with release management using Azure DevOps (ADO).

    Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement configuration management plans and procedures to ensure all information systems products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements.

    Administer the change control process for software development, aiming for zero defects.

    Evaluate and select tools and standards for configuration management.

    Administer the problem management process, including monitoring and reporting on problem resolution.

    Ensure comprehensive product testing before implementation to guarantee quality and reliability.

    Coordinate with users and systems development personnel on software releases, ensuring seamless deployment.

    Verify the completeness and accuracy of release libraries before implementation, ensuring the inclusion of correct program versions in specified releases.

    Recommend software acquisitions and/or implementations to increase efficiency in information systems and configuration management activities.

    Operate and manage the program support library, ensuring the integrity of library structure and procedures.

    Monitor end-item acceptance plans and supervise lower-level personnel as required.

    Demonstrate strong oral and written communication capabilities.
