  • Responsibilities

    Aptive is seeking a cost analyst to provide budget-related services and support to executives within VHA Procurement and Logistics Office (P&LO).

    Tasks include coordinating with directorates and program managers to develop long- and short-term financial plans; maintaining monthly consolidated financial plans; analyzing financial performance; developing spreadsheets and briefings; contributing to and reviewing acquisition plans, spend plans, budgets, and cost reports. In this role, you will compile and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, develop cost models, create data capture templates, and assist in conducting cost-benefit and business case analyses.

    This associate-level, full-time position is onsite in Washington, DC. This is an immediate hire position.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

    • 4 years of budgetary experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in in finance, accounting, business or related field.
    • Experience supporting or consulting for large Cabinet-level federal agencies, ideally the Department of Veterans Affairs.
    • Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
    • Experience with government budgetary planning.

    JOB DUTIES.
