As a crucial member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the seamless functioning of our human resource department through administrative excellence and outstanding customer service.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Serve as a backup to the finance manager for hourly payroll operations utilizing ADP, demonstrating proficiency in payroll management systems.
    • Provide prompt and knowledgeable responses to inquiries from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, and hiring procedures, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
    • Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of human resource files and records, upholding the highest standards of data security.
    • Assist with payroll functions, including processing, error resolution, and check distribution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new employees, fostering a positive and welcoming experience.
    • Conduct periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure compliance and completeness, proactively addressing any discrepancies.
    • Input all new hourly employees into payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
    • Conduct E-verify checks for all new hires, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
    • Coordinate and conduct interviews with Supervisors for hourly production workforce candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Assist in planning and executing special events such as benefit enrollment, employee recognition programs, and health screenings.

    Position Requirements:

    • Fluent in Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with our diverse workforce.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and discretion.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn new software applications.
    • Understanding of HR regulatory laws such as FMLA, ADA, EEO, and OSHA, demonstrating compliance awareness.
    • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in HR assistant roles.
