What You'll Be Doing

• Overseeing the general operations of the branch
• Developing and maintaining business relationships with customers
• Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures
• Reviewing financial and operational reports
• Managing all warehouse operations
• Defining the service standards and operational mission of the branch
• Maximizing sales opportunities
• Managing selection, annual performance appraisals, and professional development of all Management level personnel
• Directly supervising and managing assistant branch managers and department managers
• Coaching managers on employee relation issues
• Maintaining communication with the Corporate Offices
• Regularly reviewing inventory
• Completing and processing necessary reports and paperwork

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
• Minimum 4 years management experience in food service or grocery distribution
• Background in P&L, Inventory control, merchandising, hiring / training staff, front end, merchandising, cash control, payroll, security / loss prevention
• Experience in running a high volume warehouse operation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated experience in managing and training staff
• Proven commitment to customer service orientation
• Familiarity with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations
• Experience in reviewing inventory regularly to ensure accuracy and product availability
• Ability to process necessary reports and paperwork accurately and timely
