We're in search of a Branch Manager to join our dynamic team, stationed at our St. Paul, Minnesota branch. This is a highly impactful role requiring a seasoned professional equipped with a keen understanding of supply chain management, quality control, and food safety standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Overseeing the entire branch operations maintaining top-notch efficiency.
- Cultivating sustainable business relationships with clients through open communication and rapid problem resolution.
- Enforcing strict compliance with safety (HACCP, OSHA), personnel, security, pest control, and shrink control policies.
- Analyzing financial and operational reports to initiate necessary actions.
- Managing warehouse operations including safety, sanitation, shelf labels, inventory, merchandising, order receiving and stocking, order pulling, shipping, and customer service within the branch.
- Establishing service standards and operational goals for the branch and ensuring their attainment through regular monitoring.
- Optimizing sales propositions by offering exceptional customer service within prescribed budgetary guidelines.
- Supervising the selection, performance appraisal, and professional development of all management-level personnel.
- Addressing employee relation issues such as transfers, promotions, demotions, or disciplinary actions.
- Liaising with the Corporate Offices to ensure company policies and state and federal laws and regulations are adhered to.
- Conducting regular inventory reviews to validate accuracy and availability of products.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 4 years of management experience in food service or grocery distribution.
- A proven track record in running a high-volume warehouse operation.
- Experience with P&L, Inventory control, merchandising, hiring/training staff, front end, merchandising, cash control, payroll, security/loss prevention.
- Ability to develop strong business relationships with customers.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations.
- Experience in managing assistant branch managers & department managers.
- Ability to complete necessary reports and paperwork timely and accurately.
