JOB SUMMARY

Step into the vibrant world of Amalgamated Sugar Co., where your skills as a proficient Millwright will come to life in the heart of Nampa, Idaho. This role invites you into a sweet symphony of diligence and innovation, orchestrated carefully against the backdrop of our lush sugar beet fields. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble, install, and test machines to ensure they are operating correctly
• Adhere to approved safety regulations at all times
• Manage layout and placement of machinery for optimized factory operations
• Identify and repair problematic machine parts
• Dismantle older machines and replace them with new ones as needed
• Oversee preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues
• Use machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts
• Read and understand specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints to perform tasks
• Work on various factory equipment including pumps, conveyor belts, scrolls, bearings, generators, turbines, and seals
• Troubleshoot and rebuild vacuum pumps and air compressors

SKILLS

• Proficiency in assembling and installing machines, testing them for functionality
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
• Experience in layout management and equipment placement for optimized factory operations
• Skills in identifying and repairing problematic machine parts
• Experience in preventive maintenance, identifying potential issues, and correcting them
• Ability to use equipment such as forklifts
• Strong mechanical technical skills, proficient in interpreting specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints
• Proficiency in troubleshooting techniques for machine issues
• Skills in working on factory equipment including pumps, conveyor belts, scrolls, bearings, generators, turbines and seals
• Understanding of gear reducers
• Ability to troubleshoot and rebuild vacuum pumps and air compressors

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 -5 years experience as a Millwright or similar role
