Key Responsibilities:

• Design resilient and efficient industrial systems including power, communications, lighting, and control systems.
• Conduct load studies, fault current analysis, coordination/arc flash hazard studies, and create detailed specifications.
• Provide efficient construction support, including timely review of submittal and shop drawings, providing clarity on contractor requests for information, and conducting thorough site inspections.
• Ensure all designs and systems adhere to the essential electrical codes NEC, NESC, WAC and meet the robust standards NFPA, IEEE.
• Apply the depth of your knowledge in medium voltage power distribution design from substation design, grounding system design, to industrial controls/SCADA, and hazardous location design.
• Oversee the progress of projects and ensure smooth execution by coordinating with other engineers and professionals.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of consultative Electrical Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes NEC, NESC, WAC and standards NFPA, IEEE.
• Proven experience in medium voltage power distribution design, substation design, grounding system design, industrial controls/SCADA, and hazardous location design.
• Proficient in conducting electrical power system studies using advanced software like SKM or ETAP.
• Registration as a State of Washington Professional Engineer would be ideal but is not essential.
