My client, a global leader in rail transportation design and construction, has an opportunity for a Alignment Design Engineer for their US Headquarters in Los Angeles, to help shape California's transit future by providing innovative, balanced and sustainable solutions!

This would be an excellent move for an emerging engineer who wants to build their expertise as a rail practitioner, with the guidance of leading global experts in LRT, Metro and high-speed rail design and construction!

What's needed:

• BSCE and 5 to 15 years of experience in civil engineering, focused on transportation corridor alignment design (rail or roadway);
• Ability to independently develop bid packages (plans/specs/estimate) for rail projects;
• Experience with rail-related CAD software programs;
• A love for working with multi-discipline teams and guiding junior engineers;
• Excellent task management and communication skills;
• California PE license preferred, EIT required;
• Inquisitiveness and a willingness to learn!
