POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Line Assembler will perform moderate to complex tasks on all JDL EVAC machines from assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand, and power tools, mechanical /electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment. May perform lock wiring, first-stage subassembly, and final detailing functions. Works on products that contain mechanical components and multiple part numbers. Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs. Receives general supervisory guidance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Ability to understand electrical components & wiring

Ability to use hand tools to assemble fittings, fasteners, and electrical components for all EVAC machines

Help in the production of wiring assemblies.

Able to assemble parts according to directions or diagrams

Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process

Assist with Testing, runs oil through the machine

Assist with all console assembly

Willingness and ability to work in a hot/cold working environment

Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts

All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

A High School diploma or GED is required.

Minimum of one year of assembly experience, preferably in the automotive industry.

Good attention to detail

Basic math and English skills, both written and verbal

Must be flexible to work alone or around others.

Good hand-eye coordination
