    Job Description

    The HR Analyst helps the Human Resources and Senior Management Teams understand trends in the areas of talent acquisition and talent management to support engagement and retention.  The Analyst also supports the administration of HR systems and processes for the Human Resources Team.  This position performs a variety of responsible, technical and administrative duties relating to HR systems, records, data analysis and benefits.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

     REPORTING AND ANALYSIS

    • Anticipate organization reporting needs and provide relevant data and analysis to HR colleagues and senior management as appropriate
    • Assist the HR Team with the analysis of exit interview feedback to determine trends and ways to improve employee engagement and retention
    • With input from the team, complete quarterly and annual turnover analysis
    • Develop, run, and maintain a variety of recurring reports, and run ad hoc reports as needed

    HR SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

    • Maintain and optimize our HRIS and its related modules, and ensure the integrity of the data flowing in and out of the system through reporting and analysis
    • Perform data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and research/report on any discrepancies; maintain and audit data in HR systems and ensure information is available on a timely basis
    • Collaborate with IT and internal system administrators to enhance or develop system integrations; implement external integrations with third party vendors as needed to improve overall efficiency and accuracy of data exchange
    • Partner with Talent Management to develop materials to effectively train end-users on how to use HR systems
    • Provide technical assistance and resources to HR Team partners, managers and end-users
    • Collaborate with the Payroll Department on validating HR information, and support the Finance Team in the use of our HRIS, including reporting

    HRIS OPERATIONS SUPPORT         

    • Assist with HRIS optimization projects and perform periodic system audits to ensure that we are in compliance with organization policies and federal, state, and local law..
    • Support ongoing processes such as benefits and compensation administration, performance management, onboarding and compliance
    • Act as backup for the Director, HR Operations
    • Other responsibilities and projects as needed
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree with a specialization in business or HR is preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
    • Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience with a cloud-based HRIS system (our current system is UKGPro / UltiPro)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills a plus.  Microsoft Forms and Flow experience preferred
    • Demonstrated ability developing and preparing reports and presentations
    • Ability to effectively multi-task and establish priorities, and work in a fast paced environment.  Highly efficient in time management and can meet deadlines under pressure
    • Ability to identify and interpret data and identify patterns in processes or data
    • Team player who has the ability to interface with all levels of staff.  Ability to develop and maintain relationships
    • Excellent written, oral, and communication skills
    • Ability to work and make judgments independently and take initiative
    • Must maintain strict confidentiality as position involves critical and sensitive information and records
